Our story started with the love of something a little bit different when dressing our children.
We met in 2014 when our little dudes, Henry and Cassius, were at pre-school together. In the summer of 2016, we went on a family trip to Zante, Greece, as 2 families. Lounging on our sun-beds, we started discussing children's clothes after loving each others children's outfits each night at dinner. This then progressed in to discussing different designs.
We knew what we wanted our children to wear to be comfy yet cool but couldn't quite find the right clothing that fitted exactly what we wanted so we thought why not make our own clothing for our children... and then why not make it for other children too... and so 'TildaandSeb' was created. Tilda (Matilda), Gemma's youngest daughter and Seb (Sebastian) my youngest son.
Sweatshirts with simple prints were both our loves and cool Rompers too. Rompers were the hardest things to come by especially for boys and so this is what we decided that we needed to do - sweatshirts and rompers.
As an English enthusiast, English Lecturer in ITE and ex-primary school teacher who is passionate about creativity and imagination in children, I also wanted clothes to tell their own story and make their own memories - 'every style tells a story...'
